The Manitowoc County Immunization Coalition has invited approximately 45 members to join the coalition. Of this number 15 to 20 people routinely attend the sessions. Members consist of representatives from physician's offices, clinics, nursing homes, hospitals, home care agencies, school nurses, Pharmaceutical representatives and Health Check. With this wide range of representation matters regarding both adult and childhood immunizations are addressed. Meetings are held quarterly over the lunch hour.. This past year all members have been invited to the Satellite updates and they are increasingly better attended, this is also a great opportunity for discussion of concerns and updates in the immunization practices of the various agencies represented.
In the past year several pharmaceutical representatives have attended our meetings and given presentations. |
